God! Our Father, who hath the power and the goodness, give strength to those who suffer privation, give light to those who seek truth, put in the hearts of man compassion and charity.

God! Give the traveler a guiding-star, consolation to the anxious, and rest to the sick.

Father! Give repentance to the guilty, truth to the spirit, a guide to the children, a father to the orphans.

Lord! May your goodness blanket everything you created.

Piety, Lord, to those who know you not, a hope to those who suffer. May your goodness allow the consoling spirits to spread peace, hope and faith all over.

God! A ray of light, a spark of your love can burn the earth. Allow us to drink from the fountain of this fertile and infinite goodness and all tears will dry, all pain will subside, an only hearth, an only thought will rise to you as a cry of recognition and love.

As Moses on the mountain, we await you with open arms 

Oh! Power, Oh! Goodness, Oh! Beauty, Oh! Perfection, and we want somehow to achieve your mercy.

God! Give us the strength to help our progress enabling us to rise up to you, give us pure charity, give us faith and reason, give us the humbleness that will make of our souls a mirror to reflect your image.
